Osteowise Health Care uses HICAPS. This facility allows you to claim your private health insurance’s extras rebate on the spot. Your card needs to be presented at the time of your consult for your claim to be processed.
At Osteowise Health Care we accept EPC or CDM referrals from GPs. This allows eligible patients to claim a rebate on your Osteopathic treatment.
In order to facilitate your rebate, you will need to present the following

⦁ Bank Card for processing of your payment and rebate
⦁ A valid Medicare referral

At Osteowise Health Care we accept Transport Accident Commission (TAC) claims. You will be required to cover the initial cost of your consult; however, you should be able to claim you consultation fees with the TAC. Once we verify your details with the TAC, we bill them directly for your consults.

We accept Work Cover claims at Osteowise Health Care. You will be required to cover the initial cost of your consult; however, you should be able to claim your consultation fees with your employer. Once we verify your details with your insurer Allianz, Gallagher Bassett, Xchanging etc we bill the insurer directly for your consults.

At Osteowise Health Care we bill DVA directly if you hold a Gold Care or a White Card. You will need a valid GP referral for your claim to be accepted.

Covid Safe Procedures
At Osteowise Health Care The safety of our patients’, staff and broader community is our priority. In line with the guidelines set out by the DHHS, we have improved are already stringent covid safe practice and implemented the following.
- Our treatment table are being sanitised after each use and we are limiting how much linen is utilised.
- Contact points like door handles, desks and reception areas are wiped down often.
- We are following social distancing guidelines in our waiting areas.
- Practitioners will be wearing the required PPE in keeping with DHHS guidelines.
- Please do NOT attend the clinic if you are awaiting Covid 19 tests results.
- If you have recently arrived from overseas, we ask that you do NOT attend your appointment for at least 7 days.
- We request you to sanitise your hands on arrival and kindly wear a well fitted mask during your time spent at the clinic.
